We only provide maintenance and support for websites that we have built and that host with us. This allows us to provide a specialised maintenance and security service for websites that we know like the back of our hand.

We like to be clear about what our maintenance and security plan covers. In short, we keep your website running in its current state. There are certain circumstance where events out of our control are not covered. These are highlighted below.
If your website has an integrated with a third party service and that service changes something that causes your integration to break, there may be additional costs to get it up and running again.
If your business requirements change and you need the website to function in a different way, this is not covered in the maintenance and security plan. We can of course assist with new requirements as a stand alone project. Just send us a brief or get in contact to discuss the requirements.
Since we can’t anticipate how many or few content updates you need help with, we don’t cover these in our maintenance plan. We can support you with content updates, but as an additional fee.
As we built your website, some plugin fees are already covered under our licences. But, because each site is different, with different plugins, our maintenance plan does not cover paid plugin fees that are not already included. If you are unsure if you have paid plugins, please reach out and we can advise.
While we actively monitor and maintain your site, the plan does not include guaranteed out-of-hours support. This allows us to keep the service affordable while focusing our resources on proactive maintenance and support during standard working times. If a team member is available out of hours, we will endeavour to resolve critical issues, but this is not guaranteed.

So that we can provide the best maintenance and security plan for WordPress, we don’t take on every website. There are certain criteria you need to meet.
1. Your website needs to be hosted with us.
This way, we can control the server environment and have direct and instant access to provide our service in a timely and effective manner.
2. Your website was built by us.
We don’t take on website that we haven’t built, because we don’t have a complete picture on the inner workings of the website and any specialised setup that has been done.
3. Domain is pointed to our Cloudflare account.
This is optional, but recommended. Cloudflare is a domain management service which provides a first line of defence against security threats. It also helps speed up your website.
4. We are in direct contact with the business.
If you are an agency looking for a maintenance and security plan for your clients, we do not white-label this service. We need to be in direct contact with the business owners so that we can communicate our recommendations and so that our processes interact directly with the business.
