Lets get behind it!
Help Arts Funding help local Australian artists promote their work. Arts Funding is a project run by a Southern Queensland couple who want to help their artist peers in finding funding to assist with their start ups. All of their time and effort at this stage is rewarded in seeing this project come to fruition, and now they need our help. You might have a spare $10 or $100 to pledge. Whatever the amount, this is the beginning on an amazing platform for all arts disciplines.
Read more about this project and the incredibly generous team behind Arts Funding, who spend all of their free time, unpaid, dedidcated to helping local artists:
After the recent funding cuts to the Australian Arts & Cultural Sector, we saw the need for a simple ‘central hub’ where artists from ALL disciplines are able to locate every funding opportunity available to them. Arts Funding is made up of a small group of artists who have a passion to help fellow artists achieve their creative goals. We understand the time spent searching for financial support in the way of grants and prizes. There is funding out there, offered by both government and privately owned companies, however, they are difficult and tedious to locate.
In the form of a website and a user friendly phone app, you will now have every single funding, prize and residency opportunity available to you, both nationally and internationally, in the one simple place!
The phone app will become an integral part of your creative busines, offering you alerts on opportunities tailored specifically to your artistic discipline, whether that be visual arts, photography, music, dance, theatre or writing.
More and more privately owned organisations are donating to the community, and philanthropy in Australia is on the rise. Arts Funding will be your one stop to discovering these opportunities.
We have already established close contacts with major art funding organisations, receiving ample support and encouragement for our idea, along with offers to help. These are exciting times for the arts!
Ready to pledge? Great. Let’s get behind it http://www.pozible.com/project/188098
