We recently designed and developed a Franchise Recruitment Website for Australian Skin Clinics. The website design aimed to serve opportunists with clear and concise information about becoming a franchisee.
Although the original Australian Skin Clinics opened in 1996 their first franchise clinic opened in October 2011. With aesthetic treatments to suit a wide spectrum of customers (in age, gender, and culture) Australian Skin Clinics offers a range of results-driven cosmetic treatments. The franchise system is an easily replicable model with everything required to launch a franchised business.
The website design inspiration came from the need to reach those wishing to become part of the business’ family.
The site map is similar to a step-by-step application process, taking users on a journey through the Franchise information. This information included: Steps to Becoming a Franchisee, Frequently Asked Questions and an online application process. A streamlined navigation is vital in retaining users to a site. We worked with the Laser Clinic to understand what a users expectations of the site would be, how should the site interact with the users and what were the outcomes of the site. Armed with this information the website design and development was created with easy to use touch points.
Website Marketing Strategy
The website features a Latest News blog which serves as both an informative tool and part of an online marketing strategy. The website design featured the Blog to improve search engine rankings. The consistent uploading of new content is useful for your visitors and educates search engines about your business. Relevant content (your website) is therefore served to the right audience (your target market). By maintaining a blog on your website, as part of an online marketing strategy, you are encouraging search engines to crawl / visit your website more often and increase your search ranking.
Laser Clinic’s latest news is also a great space for updates about the business and for posting related industry articles. The Latest News page serves as a ‘storage’ area for these articles, instead of a cluttered homepage which distracts and confuses visitors to your website. Confusion leads to high bounce rates and a very low conversion. Low conversion is the antonym of what Italics Bold is about!

“We have been very happy with the work completed by Italics Bold for our franchise recruitment website. Our aim was to provide a dedicated franchise recruitment site for Australian Skin Clinics with all information easily accessible. This was an urgent task and Nick and the team delivered on time and to the specification! Italics Bold knew how to position our information to reach our target audience and aligned our current branding with the new website design. Nick was great with the one-on-one training in WordPress and thanks to the team for their dedication on completing the website.”
